<p>This week, Robert Garfield, senior vice president, and LeAnn Chuboff, vice president of technical affairs, of the Safe Quality Food Institute presented at Specialty Food Association&rsquo;s Fancy Food Show in San Francisco, California. The SQF team provided insights on Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS), <em>Listeria</em> outbreaks, FSMA deadlines, and allergen recalls during their &ldquo;Peeking Into the Future of Food Safety&rdquo; session. </p> <p>Additionally, FMI and SQF hosted the Food Safety Information Center and met with attendees as well as old friends, identical twins, Michael and Charlie Kalish, known as The Cheese Twins.</p> <p>Previous winners of the Food Network's Great Food Truck Race (Series 7) and Chopped finalists (Episode: Twins for the Win), the Cheese Twins are huge proponents of the SQF Program.
