September 18, 2008-- Based upon the information received by the West Virginia Division of Labor, Weights and Measures Section, it is necessary to relax the RVP fuel standards through September 30, 2008. This will be effective September 16, 2008 and continue until 12:00 am October 1, 2008.
West Virginia will be permitting fuel meeting the 13.5# RVP limit and volatility specifications.
This is being done in an effort to increase the availability of gasoline in the State of West Virginia.
